The 59th Annual Mystic Outdoor Art Festival and the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce recently announced the winning artists from this year’s festival.

They include: Best In Show, Rick Heller (oils); Robert Brackman Award, Carlos Rios (oils); Beonne Beronda Award, Robert Hyde (sculpture); Marion Tetlow Award, Bradley Jackson (acrylics); Milton Baline Award, James Whitbeck (oils); and Del Bouree Bach Working Artist Award, Bao Ke (oils).

The first-place winners include: acrylics, Jeffrey Sobol; graphics, Leo Donahue; mixed media, John Crutchfield; oils, Yukang Chen; pastels, Robin Frisella; photography, David Sieczkiewicz; sculpture, Craig Riches; and watercolors, Tracy Lizotte.

Fine crafts awards include: Teddy Goberis Award for Excellence in Ceramics, Lynn Puhalla; Louise Forest Gibson Prize, Bill Kolby (ceramics); Mabel Kingsbury Fentress Prize, Rommel Ricaute (metal); Joseph Gualtieri Prize, Paul Miller (wood); and Alice Clark Hubbard Prize, John Mroczek (wood).
