They may fib in splendid fashion, but trust power trio Marvelous Liars when they tell you they've got a self-titled album due for a July 21 release.

In prep for the upcoming CD and a first-ever subsequent tour beyond the boundaries of the region, they'll play a gig Friday in Norwich at the Strange Brew Pub. It's one of the band's first shows with new drummer Nick Cancelmo, and fans can expect to hear virtually all of the new material during the performance — as well as old favorites.
