Yaa Gyasi, who wrote the acclaimed novel "Homegoing" that is this year's One Book One Region, will be at Connecticut College for a 7 p.m. Wednesday talk.
One Book One Region and Conn presents "A Conversation with Yaa Gyasi" featuring Gyasi and Nathalie Etoke, associate professor of French and Africana studies.
The event at Palmer Auditorium is free and open to the public.
Afterward, Gyasi will hold a book signing.
"Homegoing" traces 300 years of a family's history, from the 18th-century African Gold Coast (now Ghana) to modern-day America.
