Dominion meeting with NRC rescheduled to Feb. 15

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will meet with Dominion, the owner of Millstone Power Station in Waterford on Tuesday, Feb. 15, to address problems in reviewing regulatory actions sought by the company.

The date was rescheduled from Tuesday because of a major winter storm.

Over the past several months, there have been errors within the licensing submittals that delay or complicate NRC reviews, said Carleen Sanders, an NRC project manager. The meeting is from 10 a.m. to noon at NRC headquarters in Rockville, Md. The public can attend the meeting or access it remotely.
