Norwich — The state medical examiner has found that Jaclyn Wirth, a 26-year-old mother, died of multiple gunshot wounds.

The case has been ruled a homicide, according to the office.

Wirth was killed inside her Mohegan Commons apartment around 1:42 a.m. Wednesday. Her two young children, ages 2 and 7, were home at the time.

The police have asked for the public’s help in solving the murder. No arrests had been made in the case.
