The Hygienic Cabaret Extraordinaire pulls no punches. The press release describes something as "a performance art free-for-all," and that's what it's sure to be. That could mean puppets and poets, song and dance - but it definitely means lots of conversation-starting performances.

Also on Saturday night, filmmakers get their Hygienic due at The Screening Room, held at The Exchange. This round-up promises indie films and videos. In the Hygienic spirit, this, too, is a free-for-all; let's say it all together - no judge, no jury, no fees, no censorship.
