Vojvodich awarded National Ethnic Coalition Medal of Honor

New Haven — Coast Guard Capt. Joseph Vojvodich was awarded the National Ethnic Coalition Medal of Honor at the 26th Annual Ellis Island Medal of Honor Ceremony on Ellis Island, N.Y. May 12.

Vojvodich, representing the Coast Guard, received the award for his contributions to his community and the military. He is the commander of Sector Long Island Sound in New Haven.
