Norwich — A car that was owned by a Watertown homicide victim was found late Sunday night in the city, Watertown police said this morning.

The 2007 Lincoln Town Car was owned by Donna Bouffard, 58, who was found dead Saturday evening in her home at 347 Falls Ave. in Oakville. Her son, Michael Perkins, 26, was also found dead in an apparent double homicide.

Both bodies were partially decomposed and police were led to the scene after a neighbor complained of a foul odor coming from the residence. Autopsies to determine the cause of death for both homicide victims were scheduled to be performed this morning by the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The one-family home remained under investigation today by Watertown police and the state police Major Crime Squad. They said hundreds of items have been collected from the crime scene and the car is also being processed by police today.

Watertown police continue to investigate and Lt. Mark A. Raimo said in a news release this morning that police are attempting to locate Elizabeth Swiderski, 26, and Claude A. Turner, 36, for questioning.

Any members of the public with information are asked to call the Watertown Police Department at 860-945-5200 or Water-Oak Crime Stoppers at 860-945-9940.
