Allison Aurora Nichols and James Lee Buckingham were married on May 12, 2012, at an intimate and beautiful ceremony overlooking the bluff at the Highland Lighthouse in Truro, Mass.

Allison is the daughter of Judy Laris of Manchester-by-the-Sea, Mass., and Kenneth Nichols of Syracuse, N.Y. She attended high school in Syracuse, received a bachelor of science degree from SUNY Empire State College, received a master of science degree in nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, and is currently enrolled in an MBA program at Yale University.

James is the son of Robert and Carol Buckingham of New London. He graduated from East Lyme High School, studied at Pace University in New York, graduating with a bachelor of arts degree in English.

The couple are both employed at Perelandra Natural Food Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and now reside in Brooklyn.
