The parents of Sandra Edmond and Adam McGuire are pleased to announce their engagement.

Sandra is the daughter of Kendra Raymond of Norwich and Garvin Edmond of Cape Coral, Fla. She is a 2006 graduate of NFA, a 2011 graduate of Three Rivers Community College nursing program and is employed at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital while continuing her education at Central Connecticut State University.

Adam is the son of Jessica McGuire of Niantic and Mr. & Mrs. Randall McGuire of Westerly. Adam is a 2004 graduate of Griswold High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Connecticut engineering program. He is employed at Millstone Power Station as a senior reactor operator and shift technical advisor.

A January 2013 wedding is planned in Old Saybrook.
