Two people with local ties graduate from basic military training

Two people with local ties graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

They are: Air Force Airman Cory S. Cavanaugh and Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Ryan A. Wyld. Cavanaugh, the son of Steven and Judy Cavanaugh of Ledyard, is a 2010 graduate of Ledyard High School. Wyld, the son of Deborah Hadden, of Noank, is a 2005 graduate of Westerly High School and a 2011 graduate of Mitchell College.
