First 50 pieces of art get 50% off custom framing beginning November 15th

New London, CT – November 5, 2012 – The Frame Shop at Firehouse Square, located at 239 Bank Street Rear behind THE GALLERY AT FIREHOUSE SQUARE in New London, is celebrating its grand opening on Thursday, November 15th during the opening reception for “A Miniature Show” at THE GALLERY AT FIREHOUSE SQUARE from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The evening’s festivities will feature an exquisite collection of fine cheeses offered by Fromage Fine Foods and Coffee of Old Saybrook and a special selection of fine wines compliments of The Gallery. Also, a selection of mini quiches, pies and muffins will be offered by Sweeties of New London, as well as traditional holiday music performed by Steve Eist from the Madry Temple Chorus of New London.

To further commemorate its grand opening, the Frame Shop is introducing a special 50/50 promotion, where the first 50 pieces of art will receive 50% off in custom framing. In addition, the Frame Shop is presenting an intimate collection of rare, one-of-a-kind prints by famed ornithologist and artist Roger Tory Peterson, whose famous field guides helped to popularize the hobby of birding and advanced the conservation movement. These unique Peterson prints have been framed by the Frame Shop, and will be available for purchase at the Frame Shop.
