Wash Trust waives storm fees; collecting for fund

Washington Trust will waive any retail checking overdraft or foreign ATM fees incurred between Oct. 29 and Oct. 31.

Customers are advised to call the bank's Customer Service Center at 1-800-475-2265, or visit their local branch.

Washington Trust is accepting donations for the Misquamicut Business Association's (MBA) recovery efforts through each of the bank's branch offices in Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut.

Checks may be made payable to "MBA" and mailed to Washington Trust at 126 Franklin St., Westerly, RI 02891. The Greater Westerly Pawcatuck Chamber of Commerce has also established a "Bring Back the Beach" campaign to assist local businesses.

Tax-deductible donations may be made payable to Greater Westerly Chamber Foundation and mailed to 1 Chamber Way, Westerly, RI 02891.
