Alternate Routes rock the Wolf Den
For all the much-deserved hype about the New London, New Haven and Mystic music scenes, it's fun to remember that mighty Bridgeport is the home base for rock band Alternate Routes - a veteran act whose body of work includes a major label release, 2007's "Good and Reckless and True," as well as an appearance that year on Conan O'Brien.
In 2010, the band, anchored by founding members Tim Warren and Eric Donnelly, recorded the "Lately" album in Nashville with a featured performance by Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket.
This fall, the Routes released two new singles, "Rewind" and "Turn Me Around," and perform a free show tonight in the Mohegan Sun Wolf Den.
