Norwich chamber holiday party Saturda

The Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce Community Holiday Party will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Holiday Inn, 10 Laurel Blvd., Norwich. The event is free and open to the public. Local crafters and bakers will sell their wares and small businesses will have displays. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served and Santa and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance. Drawings for prizes will be held a 2 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food and unwrapped toys will be accepted for the Gemma Moran Food Bank and the Tommy Toy Fund. The chamber represents businesses in Norwich, Bozrah, Franklin, Griswold, Ledyard, Lisbon, Montville, Preston, Salem, Sprague and Voluntown.
