Coast Guard Academy to host youth leadership conference

New London — The U.S. Coast Guard Academy will host its sixth annual Youth Leadership Conference Feb. 23.

The conference, which is led by cadets, exposes young and developing leaders of tomorrow in grades 8 through 10 to the principles of Coast Guard leadership.

Beginning at 8 a.m., students will participate in several interactive engineering and leadership-based activities. Lunch and dinner will be provided for participants.
