Birth control reduces abortions

In the Jan. 28 letter, "No Obama tears for the aborted unborn," the writer claims President Obama's legacy is being tainted by not taking responsibility for all the millions of abortions that have taken place since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision in 1973.

Incredible and ludicrous immediately come to mind. The writer also criticizes our president for crying for the Newtown children when he could have been on his soap box railing against abortion.

Again, incredible and ludicrous. Here is an idea for the writer and other anti-abortion folks. Get on your soap box and support all the birth control measures that this president advocates. Then you will be doing something worthwhile to reduce abortions.
