Her angel of mercy drove a John Deere

I would like to recognize the kind man who plowed out my driveway with his John Deere tractor near the Goshen Fire Department in Waterford on Feb. 10. He came out of nowhere and without us having to ask, he plowed the driveway and the six feet of road in front of the driveway that had not yet been plowed. He turned a daunting two-day shoveling job into a much more manageable feat. I do not know who this man was, he did not have any town or business logos on his clothes or tractor, but whoever he is, I wanted to express how grateful we are for your help!

I also would like to recognize all of the plow drivers, first responders and everyone else who worked hard during the storm to make sure our town was safe and continue to do so in the aftermath.

We have more rocky visitors coming this year. Do you plan to look for the upcoming Comet PanSTARRS slated for mid-March?
Yes, and I'm also looking forward to Comet Ison in November, which is supposed to provide a similar spectacle.

I didn't know about the upcoming comets, but I definitely plan to find out more.

Comet, meteor, asteroid, meteorite, shooting star? What's the difference? I'm so confused.

No, events in the sky don't interest me much. I'm much more concerned with what's happening here on the ground.
