I have not been interested in anything Stephen Chupaska has to say about any church - "The church from a distance" (Feb. 25) - since his column several years ago in which he referred to Jesus as "an itinerant carpenter."
The New York Times reports that corporate profits are experiencing a golden age, as high unemployment means companies do more with fewer people and don't have to offer raises. What do you think?
