Groton Town police charge man with sexually assaulting minor

Groton _ Town police arrested a Taftville man Saturday and charged him with sexually assaulting a minor.

Shaw Anderson, 20, of 460 Shetucket Avenue, was charged with three counts of first-degree sexual assault and three counts of risk of injury to a minor. He was held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court today. Police declined to provide any other details about the incidents.
