West Haven — Waterford scored three runs in the top of the fourth inning, rallying for a 6-3 win over No. 2 Granby Memorial Sunday in the CIAC Class M softball tournament final.

Waterford (22-6), the No. 12 seed, trailed 3-2 before the outburst. Freshman Claire Hurley singled home two runs and scored on a squeeze bunt by Jodi Weiss.

The title is the fourth in program history for Waterford.
