    Life in the Preserve

Chris Cryder of Save the Sound, Kate Brown of the Trust for Public Land, and the Old Saybrook Land Trust (OSLT) invite the public to a program about the 1,000-acre Preserve on Sunday, March 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Grace Episcopal Church, 336 Main Street, Old Saybrook. Attendees will learn about this amazing coastal forest and why it should be saved through stories, pictures, and video.

Cryder has logged more than 1,000 hours hiking in the Preserve, and has a vast knowledge of the flora, fauna, and history of the forest. Brown is the project manager for the Trust for Public Land and will discuss efforts underway to permanently protect the forest.

The program is presented free of charge, and light refreshments will be served. The OSLT annual meeting follows the presentation. All are invited to attend. For more information contact the OSLT at email@oslt.org, visit oslt.org, or call 860-575-4831.
