"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love than this no one has, that one lay down his life for his friends.... These things I command you, that you may love one another;" and, "If you love me, you will follow my commandments."

Despite these words of Christ, I watched in sadness and embarrassment, those, many who call themselves Christians, block buses filled with women and their children, the first wave of immigrants (yes, undocumented) who were supposed to be processed at the Murrieta border patrol station, a move designed to ease overcrowding at other border facilities.

Parents, fleeing a country to save their children from violence and poverty. Would we not do the same to protect our children?
