Rep. Ted Moukawsher has done a good job as a legislator in the 40th District. He has worked hard for Groton taxpayers. He was instrumental in bringing the water taxi to the attention of Gov. Malloy. He has supported school-based health clinics for Groton schools.

Furthermore, he is an independent voice in Hartford. He does what he thinks is right, regardless of party. As David Collins said in April, "he bravely bucked his party" in rejecting a Malloy rebate proposal. He has shown his concern for seniors, women's rights, students and all citizens of the region. I will be voting for him on Nov. 4 and I hope you will too.
