Angela Marie Payne of Waterford and John Young IV of Colchester were united in marriage on the evening of June 20, 2014, at the Woodwinds in Branford.

Parents of the bride are Anthony and Diana Payne of Waterford. Parents of the groom are John III and Ellen Young of Colchester.

The maid of honor was Meghan Silva. Bridesmaids were Kelsey Phillips, cousin of the bride, Kimberly Miller, and Amanda Struble. The flower girl was Luciana Juliani, cousin of the bride. The best man was Patrick Waszczak. Groomsmen were Brian Paquette, Ryan Gannon, and Mike Tkaczuk. The ring bearer was Kaygan Hill-Payne, nephew of the bride.

Angela graduated cum laude from Central Connecticut State University in May 2011 with a bachelor's degree in education. She is employed by Montville Public Schools as a fifth grade teacher. Johnny graduated cum laude from Central Connecticut State University in May 2011 with bachelor's degrees in accounting and finance. He is employed by General Dynamics Electric Boat as a financial analyst.

They reside in Niantic with their dog, Gus.
