Kurds head for border battle

A Kurdish peshmerga soldier reaches out to supporters at the Ibrahim Khalil border crossing Wednesday in the northern Kurdish region of Iraq. A group of peshmerga troops arrived in Turkey early Wednesday, on their way to Syria to help their Syrian Kurdish brethren fight Islamic State extremists in the embattled border town of Kobani.
