Foley's Iraq record should dissuade voters

As one who served in Iraq with the Coalition Provisional Authority in 2004 (as a civil servant - not a political appointee) I saw firsthand what a fiasco the occupation was and how many mistakes were made by Administrator L. Paul Bremer and his inner circle.

Tom Foley, with little knowledge of Iraq and little knowledge of how to deal with a post-Saddam economy, but a college pal of George W. Bush, was charged with dealing with Iraq's economy. And he was one of those responsible for that disaster.

Let's remember that it was the arrogant, incompetent and callous occupation that cost many American and Iraqi lives and still has effects in the ability of ISIS to recruit in Iraq.

Does Connecticut need, as governor, someone with that kind of record?
