The seven-month process of disassembling and removing The Day's printing press is condensed into a 35-second time-lapse video. A camera captured a picture every 10 minutes from April 7 to Oct. 24 to document the work in the pressroom at The Day's building in downtown New London.
The Day’s press went silent in August of 2011. The Day and The Times weekly publications are printed by the Providence Journal.
