Bush vs. Clinton again? It's getting ridiculous

It is a sad commentary on the state of our political system that it seems quite probable that the presidential political nominees for our major parties will end up being Bush and Clinton in 2016. Where is the outrage over the loss of the American dream when it comes to those we are likely to nominate for political office?

It is clear that Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton have many positive traits and policies. Jeb is the moderate Bush we probably should have had in 2000, and nobody can deny that Hillary must have played an essential role in the success of Bill Clinton's presidency and that she possesses excellent leadership characteristics and credentials.

However, are there no other options?

It seems to me that in this era of political brand recognition the only reasonable solution is that there must be some sort of constitutional amendment or other act that prohibits immediate family members to hold the federal office their relatives once held. These candidates are only going to increase our dysfunctional political divisions in the post-Obama era when we most need candidates who will bring us together again.

Thank God, we have more than 20 years before Sasha or Malia become candidates.
