Registration is now open for Mystic Aquarium's second annual Seal Splash, in which participants jump into the waters of Misquamicut Beach in Westerly to raise money for animal rescue efforts.

The plunge will begin at noon Jan. 24 at Paddy's Restaurant at 159 Atlantic Ave. The fee is $25 for adults and $15 for children 18 and younger.

All funds raised by participants of the Seal Splash will help Mystic Aquarium's Animal Rescue Program.

Registration is available at mysticaquarium.org. The fee is $20 for those registered by Jan. 7 and $25 thereafter. All registrants will receive a gift. Those who raise more than $120 (including registration fee) will receive a complimentary long-sleeved Seal Splash T-shirt. The top fundraiser will win a Mystic Aquarium animal encounter experience.
