No. 1 Kentucky 65, Vanderbilt 57

Kentucky twin guards Aaron and Andrew Harrison combined for 11 points down the stretch that were key in helping the Wildcats hold off pesky Vanderbilt on Tuesday night.

The Wildcats (18-0, 5-0 Southeastern Conference) didn't lead by double digits until early in the second half, and that 45-33 advantage lasted briefly as the Commodores (11-7, 1-4) began answering from the perimeter to stay within several possessions of Kentucky.

Five combined 3-pointers by Riley LaChance (16 points) and Matthew Fisher-Davis (13) helped Vanderbilt pull within 58-54 with 2:36 left. Aaron Harrison responded with a big shot from long range 27 seconds later, and Andrew Harrison followed with a jumper with 1:07 left to provide some space.

Aaron Harrison added two more free throws to finish with 14 points while Andrew Harrison had five points for Kentucky, which shot 44 percent.

Dakari Johnson added 10 points for the Wildcats.

Davidson 77, No. 22 Dayton 60

Freshman Peyton Aldridge had 22 points and senior Tyler Kalinoski added 21, and the sharp-shooting Davidson Wildcats knocked off Dayton for their first win over a ranked opponent this season.

Davidson was 12 of 23 from 3-point range, helping to erase a 26-point loss to Richmond three days earlier.

Aldridge and Kalinoski were both 9 of 14 from the field and combined to shoot 7 of 9 from beyond the arc.

Oskar Michelsen had 11 points for the Wildcats (13-4, 4-2 Atlantic-10), who won despite playing without their second-leading scorer Jack Gibbs. The school announced before the game that Gibbs, who came in averaging 15.8 points per game, injured his knee and will be reevaluated on Wednesday.

Jordan Sibert and Kendall Pollard each had 23 points to pace Dayton (15-3, 5-1), which entered the regular season top 25 this week for the first time since Dec. 7, 2013.

No. 6 Wisconsin 82, No. 25 Iowa 50

Frank Kaminsky had 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Wisconsin relied on tough defense to rout Iowa.

Sam Dekker added 17 points and eight boards for the Badgers (17-2, 5-1 Big Ten), who won their second straight since losing starting point guard Traevon Jackson to a foot injury.

Jackson's replacement, Bronson Koenig, shot 3 of 6 from 3-point range and finished with 13 points.

Iowa (13-6, 4-2) trailed by 18 at halftime in its first road loss of the season. Jarrod Uthoff, a Wisconsin transfer, led the Hawkeyes with 12 points.

No. 9 Iowa State 77, Kansas State 71

Monte Morris hit a floater with 37 seconds left and Iowa State held off Kansas State, moving into a tie for first place in the Big 12.

Jameel McKay had 15 points off the bench for the Cyclones (14-3, 4-1), who joined No. 11 Kansas atop the league. Iowa State beat Kansas in Ames 86-81 on Saturday.

Kansas State turned it over at mid-court after Morris put the Cyclones ahead 73-69. That miscue allowed Iowa State to seal the game at the line.

Nino Williams had a season-high 22 points for Kansas State (11-8, 4-2), whose winning streak was snapped at four games.
