Stephen is the son of Linda and Gary Young of East Lyme. Bianca is the daughter of Belinda Cory and Mario Trejo, both of St. Loius, Mo. The couple plan to be married at St. Agnes Church in Niantic in September, 2015.

Stephen and Bianca met at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Fla. where each earned a Ph.D. in industrial organizational psychology. Dr. Trejo graduated from Triad High School and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is employed as senior research analyst for Walt Disney World Resorts in Orlando, Fla. Dr. Young is a graduate of Guilford High School and University of Connecticut. He is research associate at Design Interactive, Inc. in Orlando.
