Norwich Free Academy hosts autism event

Norwich – Norwich Free Academy is hosting Autism Awareness Week this week with daily announcements at the start of school, a scavenger hunt and a public event Thursday that will include lighting the Slater Atrium in blue lights.

The Light it Up Blue event will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and will be accompanied by speeches, videos, student performances and music and refreshments.

The event is free and open to the public.
