    Norwich - The Most Rev. Michael R. Cote, bishop of Norwich, performed the communion rite surrounded by the priests of the Diocese of Norwich as parishioners throughout the diocese celebrated the Chrism Mass at the Cathedral of St. Patrick during Holy Week in Norwich Tuesday.

    The Chrism Mass involves the renewal of priestly promises for the priests of the diocese and the blessing of the oils to be used in religious ceremonies in parishes throughout the diocese.
