    USS Hartford returns home to Groton

    The U.S. Navy Los Angeles Class attack submarine USS Hartford (SSN 768) passes the New London skyline Monday, May 4, 2015. The Hartford was returning from what the Navy calls "regularly scheduled operations." The Hartford, the 57th sub in the class, was launched in 1993 and commissioned in 1994.     The U.S. Navy Los Angeles Class attack submarine USS Hartford (SSN 768) returned from what the Navy calls "regularly scheduled operations," Monday, May 4, 2015. 

    The Hartford, the 57th sub in the class, was launched in 1993 and commissioned in 1994. It is the second U.S. Naval vessel to be named for Connecticut's Capital city.
