Albano Ballet Company will perform "The Minister's Black Veil" — which company founder Joseph Albano originally choreographed to the music of Charles Frink in the early 1960s — at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6, in the Mohegan Sun Cabaret Theater. Frink, a well-regarded composer who also taught history for years at New London High School, died in December. Albano is presenting "Veil" here and honoring Frink. The piece is based on Nathaniel Hawthorne's short story. Also on the Aug. 6 program will be the premiere of Albano's "Swan Lake" and "The Ishtar Ballet." Tickets are $30 and $35.
