WNBA All-Star game will return to Mohegan Sun

The WNBA's best players are headed back to Mohegan Sun Arena this summer.

The league and Mohegan Sun have scheduled a press conference this morning and, according to multiple sources, are expected to announce that the Sun will play host to the 2015 All-Star Game.

With no games currently scheduled between July 22-28, the game will likely take place on Saturday, July 25.

It would be the fourth time that the Arena has played host to the All-Star game. The Sun previously hosted the event in 2005, 2009 and 2013. The arena also hosted a game between Team USA and a group of WNBA All-Stars during the 2010 season in preparation for the FIBA World Championship that year.

The Connecticut Sun will play host to the Washington Mystics when the 2015 season tips off on Friday, June 5.
