Richard and Martha McClure of Chelmsford, Mass., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlyn, to Matthew Raymond, son of Timothy and Debra Raymond of Niantic.

The couple met at their alma mater, St. Anselm College, in Manchester, N.H. Ms. McClure graduated in 2007, with a bachelor of arts degree in international relations. She currently works as a policy advisor with Covington and Burling LLP in Washington, D.C. Dr. Raymond, a 2003 graduate of East Lyme High School, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in biochemistry in 2007, and earned a Ph.D. in neuroscience from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He currently works as a program analyst with the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke in Bethesda, Md.

A May 2015 wedding is planned in Washington, D.C.
