Time to 'Deck The Walls'
Forgive the good folks at the Lyme Art Association for being a bit slow. After all, retail stores, television ads and city workers hanging festive lights and erecting town square trees have been hyping Christmas since early September - and LAA is just now getting around to the opening of their "Deck the Walls" art exhibition and sale.
More than 100 works of original art by association members will be on display and priced to sell for holiday gifts.
A tangential show of landscapes, "Celebrating Lyme's Beauty," also opens Friday. An official opening reception takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 21. Through Jan. 3.
