    High school roundup: East Lyme girls get three more goals from deLaforcade, remain unbeaten

    Stonington — Stephanie deLaforcade scored three times as the East Lyme High School girls’ soccer team remained unbeaten with a 6-1 win over Stonington on Monday.

    Isabelle Moore had two goals and Hannah Belleville scored for the Vikings (11-0). Hayley Sorrentino added 12 saves.

    Hannah Johnson scored, Grace Narducci had the assist and Taty LaFrance Boyce had 13 saves for Stonington (6-3).

    In other games:

    • Emily Kowalski scored the go-ahead goal in the 65th minute on an assist from Olivia Holubecki as Ledyard edged Killingly 4-3. Kelly Lamb had two goals for Ledyard (5-2) and Stephanie Vetrano added a goal and an assist.

    • Claire Hurley had three goals and Ashley Goldstein earned her first career goal as Waterford beat Norwich Free Academy 4-0. Megan Sturm had two assists for the Lancers (7-1-1) and Ciana Chiappone and Jess Harpell each added an assist. Kayla Tosses had seven saves for NFA (2-6).

    • Bea Dresser scored the go-ahead goal in the first overtime as Trinity College Academy edged Norwich Tech/Holy Family 3-2 in the Constitution State Conference. Chamara Wiggins and Shyianne Jones scored for Trinity. Ashlee Cardin scored twice and Lauren Beile had 14 saves for Norwich Tech.

    • Ashleigh Angle and Deanna Guilani scored for Woodstock Academy in its 2-0 win over New London. Kenya Capers had 18 saves for New London (2-4-1).

    • Lincoln beat Williams 3-1. Camrym Werbinski scored on an assist from Lucy Burr and Tori Hersant and Deri Carter combined on eight saves for Williams (2-2-1)

    Boys' soccer

    • Danny Reid had a goal and an assist to pace Old Lyme to its 3-0 win over Portland in the Shoreline Conference. Nate Peduzzi and William Ferguson scored for Old Lyme (6-1-3, 5-0-2) and Cam Dean-Frazier had four saves. Kenny Pho had 14 saves for Portland (3-4-1, 1-4-1).

    • Patrick Mahoney had three goals as St. Bernard beat Norwich Tech 4-2. Sean Crowe scored for the Saints (3-6) and Juan Uran had 12 saves. Evan LePage and Preston Minor scored for the Warriors and Ian Hubbard had four saves.

    • Noah Bavolack finished with 10 saves in goal for Williams in a 3-3 tie with Oxford Academy. Jacob Marchesi and Ashton Kozlowski scored first-half goals for the Blues, who were tied 2-2 at halftime thanks to Kozlowski's penalty kick with fewer than 10 seconds remaining. Kyle Murphy's first goal of the season gave Williams a 3-2 lead, but Oxford was able to force the tie with a late goal.

    Volleyball

    • Carly Puckett had 10 kills and Madison Bell 17 digs as East Lyme swept Montville 25-12, 25-17, 25-11. Alex Marsh had 10 digs for East Lyme (7-2). Christi Johnson had 10 digs and Lauryn Benoit four kills for Montville (6-5).

    • Katelyn Nol had 16 digs and Isis DeLoatch added eight kills and two blocks as NFA swept Killingly 25-18, 25-7, 25-18. NFA is 5-5.

    • Avery Kosma finished with 14 service points for Waterford in a 25-15, 25-14, 26-24 victory over Bacon Academy. Haley Taylor had a .400 hitting percentage and Jill Sykora 16 digs for Waterford (8-2).

    • Woodstock Academy topped Ledyard 25-16, 25-11, 23-25 and 25-15. Leeann Rauls had 10 aces for Woodstock. Ledyard is 1-9.

    • Marissa Smith had 16 assists, but Old Lyme lost to Haddam-Killingworth 25-15, 26-24, 25-17. Sophia Romeo added 10 kills and seven digs for Old Lyme.

    • Med-Ed Prep beat Grasso Tech 25-13, 25-18, 25-15 in a CSC match. Vanessa Parra had six digs and two kills for Grasso (2-7) and Preonna Cannon, Keila Lastraglio and Kiera Sebastian each had two digs.
