    H.S. lacrosse roundup: Montville girls keep rolling

    Montville — Alyssa Turchetta scored four goals and Karlee Rewers had three goals and an assist as the Montville High School girls' lacrosse team beat Bacon Academy 10-9 Thursday.

    Alexis Delucia scored twice, Hailey Adcock made 11 saves and Kenzie Ullrich had a goal for Montville (10-6) one day after the Indians clinched a tie for the Eastern Connecticut Conference Division III title.

    In other games:

    • Karlie Rowe scored seven goals and Elena Hynes had a goal and seven assists as East Lyme beat Lauralton Hall 17-12. East Lyme (14-2) tied Pomperaug for the best record in Class M and will be the No. 1 or 2 seed in the state tournament. Hailey Gordon scored four goals and Olivia Facchini and Julia Bates scroed two goals each for East Lyme.

    • Kara Bassett had five goals and Bridget Feeney scored three as St. Bernard beat Woodstock 16-7. Mia Londregan had two goals and an assist, Flora Klise and Brianne Hoffa had two goals each and Adelaide Horgan had a goal and an assist for St. Bernard (7-6).

    • Grace Briggs scored four goals and Julia Gigliotti had three goals and an assist, leading Waterford to a 17-3 win over Wheeler. Emma Brown had two goals and two assists, Megan Wyatt and Olivia Gianakos each scored twice and Kaylee Swansen and Jacklyn Lavoie had two assists each for Waterford (12-4). Rachel Serra scored twice for Wheeler (1-10).

    • Sydney Cowell scored eight goals and had five assists as Old Lyme beat Valley Regional 22-14 to remain undefeated in the Shoreline Conference. Maggie Berger had five goals and three assists, Abby Berger three goals and an assist, Anna Mesham two goals and three assists, Lauren Quaratella two goals and two assists and Anna Sather scored twice for Old Lyme (13-2, 10-0).  

    Boys

    • Fitch lost to RHAM 15-11. Noah Reuling had four goals and four assists, Bray Wilson scored three times, Zach Letellier had two goals and Riley Jordan had a goal and an assist for Fitch (6-9).

    • Aaron Lahah scored three goals in Stonington's 17-12 loss to Bacon Academy in ECC Division II. David Bibeau and Max Mueller each scored twice for the Bears (9-5, 7-3).

    • Bray Griffith scored five goals and Logan Bowdish added three goals and an assist in Waterford's 16-3 win over Woodstock in ECC Division II. Kyle Jacobson had two goals and an assist, Kyle Cardoza scored twice and Michael LaForte had a goal and five assists for the Lancers (14-1, 9-0).
