I read with great amusement the Nov. 8 political cartoon of the way it looked at the beginning. When Obama came in, the country was already in a big debt or hole, with no jobs.

Everyone knows who put us there, but many have a hard time admitting it. But that is past and we can't do anything now but try to get back out on firm ground.

We need some good leaders like presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry Truman.

Are there anymore heroes like those out there? Pray they will step forward. They didn't do it for prestige, but for love of country and were humble men.

The war with Iraq was useless and only made for trouble, all to achieve the Bush family vendetta. George H.W. Bush was a hero, but his son George W. Bush, no way. Do you think he would fight in a war? He wasn't even faithful to the National Guard. I am not anti-Republican. I vote the person, not the party.
