Agrees with Obama 100%, but not really

I agreed with President Obama 100 percent when, speaking about Cuba, he said: "I do not believe we can keep doing the same thing for over five decades and expect a different result." I thought he was talking about the communists in Cuba.

    Silly me.

The United States is not the cause of Cuba's poverty nor has Cuba been isolated in the world. They can get tons of wheat from Canada, machine tools from Germany and Renaults from France any time they want, but they are broke, and other countries won't give their products away.

Communism makes people broke and always has.

The Cuban people are, and have been, naturally industrious and hard working. Communism robs them of the fruits of their labor and diminishes their spirit to labor. It has made Cuba a beggar nation. The perfect example of "Atlas Shrugging." And a tragedy for the spirited Cuban people.

Now our president has decided to trade with the communists who control all business in Cuba.

Extending them credit that will never be repaid so they can buy U.S. products and keep the Castros in power for years to come.

    Brilliant!
