What a joke: ¨The city always comes first ... the job of running the government in different situations will always come before the campaign,¨ according to Zak Leavy, Mayor Daryl Finizio's campaign manager, “Passero says fundraising a ‘vote of confidence’ ,” (April 10).

If Mayor Finizio had only spent half the time he spends campaigning directing the removal of snow, maybe we would not have had to wait until the sun and warm weather at the end of March to finally remove the snow that first arrived mid-January.

Just because a campaign staffer says Finizio cares about New London doesn't mean it's true! Let us see the evidence of accomplishment. New London deserves better.
