More U.S. killing breeding more hate

The lead article, “Strike by U.S. targets terror leader,” (June 15), to me is disgusting. It states that the U.S. killed the terror leader in Libya. Why should Americans be proud of this action? What has happened to our Christian values? Are we following Israel in its murdering the citizens of Gaza to accomplish its goals? What kind of Christian nation have we become? We as a nation of law would be a disgrace to our forefathers.

The politicians and presidency of this nation started a war in Iraq under false pretenses; civilians and American soldiers were killed for no reason. The costs of these phony wars are egregious; and yet we continue.

You can include 9/11 as a result of all our war mongering by organizations like the CIA and others. This nation needs desperately a leader like General Eisenhower who told us years ago to “Beware of the military industrial complex.” When will this nation wake up?
