I was so glad to see most of the Connecticut delegation to the House of Representatives recently on television. I thought they were taking part in some sort of program to show school children how to conduct a peaceful protest. I was stunned to learn that they were serious about disrupting the business of the House in order to push their anti-gun agenda. If they had a serious proposal that would help prevent the type of attack that took place in Orlando, I'd be on their side, but they just repeat the same drivel even though anything they have suggested would not solve the problem. They just can't make themselves admit that the heart of the matter is Islamic terrorism. I was even more surprised to see that they were using the demonstration to raise money. Talk about phonies!

I think that the proper response from Speaker Ryan would be to suspend them until they can get a note from their mommies or daddies promising that they'll start acting like grown-ups at least until the 2016 election is over.
