Letter was half right, but wrong candidate

Your Killingworth reader, “Clinton is corrupt to the core,” (Aug. 4), is right that the stakes in this year’s presidential election are high and that the future of our republic is in jeopardy, but not because of the possible election of Hillary Clinton, who as President Obama correctly put it, is better prepared for the Oval Office than any woman or man has ever been.

The future of our republic will be in jeopardy if her opponent, loud mouth bully Donald Trump, is somehow elected.
