Dredging criticisim of Malloy was unfair

I have a strong hunch that officials in Connecticut and New York are already talking to one another about ways a potential lawsuit over dredging can be avoided, “For region's sake, Malloy needs to overcome Cuomo's dredge locks," (Aug. 18). I am also very confident that Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will make Connecticut's case effectively and with scientific facts when he and his counterpart, Gov. Cuomo, talk directly. I don't think that's "dodgy" by any stretch of the imagination. Rather, I think it reflects the natural process of negotiation that involves utilizing the service of experts, scientists, and staff at the initial phase.
