Reading 'puppet' Day wastes her time

Your front-page headline, “Protests on Day 1 of Trump era,” (Nov. 10), reminded me of a petulant child who acts out in order to get his own way. The exuberance you have over some protests was evident thereby providing a lost opportunity to focus on the graciousness of both Donald Trump’s acceptance speech and Hillary Clinton’s concession speech. Upon close examination it became clear that The Day was receiving its marching orders from the Washington Post and tells me beyond any doubt who is pulling your puppet strings. It’s so sad that The Day is in lockstep with the sullied media.

Your editorial on the same day, “The implications of Trump’s victory,” was equally pitiful. You bantered the word mandate with no regard that its meaning is not defined subjectively by the user but objectively by the denotation of the word itself. Also, you state that money corrupts the political process without mention of the Clinton Foundation. Would it be accurate, then, for me to conclude that a liberal progressive press corrupts our political process?

Thank God that I can rely on the Wall Street Journal for a fair and balanced reporting of events affecting my everyday life. Reading your newspaper has become a waste of time.
