Constitutional problems with prosecution of Arpaio

I find it incredibly shallow that the socialist, liberal left would react with such indignation at President Trump's pardon of former Sheriff Joe Arpaio, especially considering the scope of pardons the three most recent presidents handed out.

There are many outstanding issues yet to be decided by the U.S. Supreme Court regarding the decision of the 9th Circuit to uphold the lower court federal district judge's ruling that found Arpaio in contempt. Among them are the right to a jury trial by one’s peers when any charge involves jail time to be served, as was the situation in the Arpaio case.

Also at issue is the right of local and state officers, such as Arpaio and those who worked for him, to enforce federal laws that mirror state law. Finally, there is the question of the constitutional overreach of a lower court activist judge, who was appointed by President Bill Clinton, acting as judge, jury and sentencer.

In the view of many citizens, enforcement of the law is being threatened by those who would dismantle our Constitution. Perhaps the socialist left should look at the profiling that goes on every day by the TSA at airports?
